HANDHELD VACUUM CLEANERS
Quite simply, a “handheld” vacuum cleaner is a vacuum cleaner that you can hold in one hand. Handheld vacuum cleaners are small, lightweight vacuums that are usually battery powered and designed to provide that portability feature to keeping your home clean. In most circumstances they are the secondary vacuum used in conjunction with a larger primary vacuum cleaner which is usually an upright vacuum cleaner. Handheld vacuums are ideal for cleaning areas like a car’s upholstery or staircases, where an upright vacuum would be too large, heavy, or limited by the length of its electrical cord. How to choose a handheld vacuum cleaner is a matter of assessing one’s needs and taking in to consideration things like budget, functionality, power, and ease of operation. People buy a handheld vacuum cleaner for their convenience but the fact that this vacuum cleaner is small does not mean it has no power.
Handheld vacuum cleaners can be powered from rechargeable batteries or from the electrical outlet. Shop around for a handheld vacuum that is relatively light, as a heavier model can be tiring to use, especially in situations like cleaning stairs that may require you to bend at the waist.
Shark perfected the handheld vacuum cleaner to the point that it can vacuum not just those small messes, but the whole studio apartment or RV. Some of them can be even converted into a canister vacuum cleaner.
There are three models of Shark handheld vacuum cleaners on the market:
